If you are here reading this, it matters to me that you understand who I am beyond just a photographer.

Photography, for me, has never just been about taking pictures. It is about connection, laughter, personality, and freezing little moments in time that you will someday look back on and miss.

My life did not begin with ease or stability. I lost my mom to cancer after a long battle when I was young, and that kind of loss changes you. It teaches you early how important memories become and how quickly life moves.

After she passed, life became complicated, and I learned very young how to notice the things people do not always say out loud. The little shifts in emotion. The energy in a room. The quiet moments happening in between everything else.

I think that became part of the way I see people through my camera.

My Mimi used to tell me there was something different about me. A light. An intuition. A way of walking into a room and instantly feeling the energy around me. Photography became an extension of that for me. I love capturing people as they really are. The smiles they do not realize they are making. The chaos. The sweetness. The personalities that make every family unique.

Today, I live with multiple sclerosis, a disease that has changed nearly every part of my life. It has challenged my mobility, my independence, and my energy. But it also taught me how important it is to enjoy life while we are living it.

That mindset shaped this business in a big way.

I wanted to create photography that felt welcoming, relaxed, affordable, and real. A place where families do not have to stress about being perfect and where people can actually enjoy the experience instead of worrying the whole time.

Some of my favorite sessions are the imperfect ones anyway. The kids running wild. The unexpected laughs. The goofy moments in between poses. Those are usually the memories people treasure most later.

This business was built from resilience, rebuilding, and finding joy wherever I could along the way. And honestly? I am just really grateful I still get to do something I love so much.
